Here are some of the workshops I’ve led in the past and some I currently offer:
Inspiration for the Future Painting Workshop at GWT Cooperative Waldorf School. I led classrooms grade 1-5 where students each conceptualized and illustrated their version of “What is important in the world and what would you like to learn?” We studied the creative process, examples from art history, and art techniques.
Workshops for Adults:
Collecting paintings is one thing, but many people also want a way to meet the artist and talk to them first hand, see their working environment and experience the raw, day to day atmosphere where art is made. Experience privileged access directly into the atelier and mind of one of the region’s top avant garde artists, and behind the scenes access on her creative process, inspirations and lifestyle. Attending a workshop place individuals permanently on first mailings and contacts for shows and exhibition notices. Join in on the journey.
Workshop with the Artist: Create Your Own Large Scale Painting
Have you ever wanted to paint large scale but feel a bit intimidated? This is the workshop for you. Join Emilia at her studio located north of Seattle in a guided session where you both work on one painting. This is designed to wash away inhibitions or reservations about laying the brush to the canvas, free form expression, and having lots of fun making art. Emilia will guide you through a set of steps she uses, including help visualizing an image goal. Duration 2-3 hours. Paint and large unstretched canvas provided, and you get the option of taking it home. Includes a pre-phone consultation to arrange details. Call now to set up a workshop session. (206) 303-9615
