Kneeling Figure, acrylic and glitter on canvas, 72 by 60 in. Emilia Kallock 2015
I finally completed this painting today, happy with the glitter as finishing touches. The work is based on when one has an event that brings one to their knees, and re-organizes life in a new paradigm because of the impact. It signifies both the humbling and new beginning aspect of the occurrence.
