I’m working on a painting which depicts my continuing desire to represent universal experiences.  I am using a figure again to do this.  I want to convey the feeling that one has when life has literally ‘knocked one to their knees” for whatever reason.  In this piece I am interested in exploring the feeling of being humbled by life, by events, circumstances etc, and how one deals with it and the feelings that arise from realizing things happen outside of our control, and how that can humble and awe.  It’s a large painting, and I’m employing a more watercolor approach so I need to stand on a board to work from above.
